Throwing it back...back in time to when my photography journey began. Back to 2015. Now if you want to click the little "x" on your browser tab or hit the Back arrow, I don't blame you. But if you want some back story on what brought me to this place, then keep reading? What are you waiting for?

So back in September of 2015, I caught wind of a Meet & Greet hosted by The Hundreds. And with the opportunity to meet the faces behind the brand and some amazing photographers in Stephen Vanasco (@vanstyles), Travis Jensen (@travisjensen), and Jenah Yamamoto (@gypsyone), I couldn't pass it up.

Now, mind you, this was my first-ever event around other photographers. I barely knew anything about lenses, gear, best practices, etc. And now here I am, shaking hands and

trying to converse with already-established photographers and people in that industry. "I'm a freelance photographer in Downtown Los Angeles," one said. "I do photography for a helicopter service," another said. "I'm best friends with and personal photographer for the Kardashians," no one actually said.

But to the point, I was seriously behind in the photography life curve. Let's just say...that kindled the first fire in me.

And then Gypsy pulled up and my heart stopped and I dropped my camera on the sidewalk. The End.
